Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Palm Breezy Open ("the App") is a golf tournament scoring app for a
private group of players. This policy explains what information the App
collects and how it is used.
Information we collect
- Account details — your name and email address when you create
an account (with email/password, Google, or Apple).
- Profile photo — only if you choose to upload one from your
photo library.
- Golf data — hole-by-hole scores, handicaps, and round history
you or a tournament admin enter.
- Approximate location — only when you tap "Use my location" to
find nearby golf courses. Your position is used once for the course
search and is not stored.
How we use it
- To operate live leaderboards, scorecards, and tournament results
shared with the other players in your group.
- To send optional email notifications (round summaries, follow
alerts) — you can turn these off in Account settings.
- Tournament admins may export results to Google Sheets or PDF for
the group.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use advertising or tracking SDKs.
- We do not share your data with third parties beyond the service
providers needed to run the App (hosting, email delivery, golf
course database lookups).
Sign-in providers
If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive only your name and
email address from that provider. We never see your Google or Apple
password.
Data retention & deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the App under
Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes
your login, profile, photo, and sign-in credentials. Scores recorded in
group tournaments remain part of the shared tournament record. You can
also email us to request deletion.
